Morocco’s unique and diverse flora and fauna, from the Atlantic and Mediterranean coastal regions to the towering Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, remain significantly underrepresented artistically. This lack of scientific illustrations and artistic representation underscores the untapped potential for exploration and conservation efforts in this diverse North African nation.
a self-taught scientific illustrator starting out in this fascinating field. As a kid, I always loved drawing and exploring nature. I would spend hours sketching animals and plants, captivated by their details and diversity. Now, with Nature art Morocco, I’m combining these passions to make nature art forms more accessible and engaging. My goal is to spark the same curiosity and awe for the natural world in others that I’ve felt since childhood. Through my work, and with the help of other artists, I hope to inspire a deeper connection with nature.”
I invite you to take a look at my portfolio, where I’ve gathered a selection of my illustrations inspired by the natural world.
PortfolioThe sole purpose of natureartmorocco.org is to foster a community of nature admirers, artists, naturalists, and scientists. Here, I will share my journey as an illustrator, highlight the work of fellow local artists, and raise awareness about the urgent need for nature conservation in Morocco. Through my work and collaborations with other artists, we hope to inspire a deeper connection with nature and ignite curiosity and awe for the natural world in others.”
